Yes. The CSC Kendra Passport Photo Maker is completely free to use. There are no watermarks, no sign-ups, and no limits on the number of sheets you generate.
Do my photos get uploaded to a server?
No. Every operation — upload, crop, brightness/contrast, sheet layout, download, and print — runs locally in your browser via HTML Canvas. Your photos never leave your device and are not stored anywhere.
What photo sizes are supported?
Indian passport 35×45 mm (default), stamp size 25×35 mm, and US visa 2×2 inch (51×51 mm). You can place them on a 4×6 inch photo sheet or an A4 sheet. Custom sizes via presets plus fine margin and spacing controls.
How many photos can I put on one sheet?
Up to 42 photos per sheet. Choose 1–6 copies per person with quick presets, or full-sheet presets (6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36). If you exceed the sheet capacity the tool will auto-resize and tell you.
Can I add multiple people to the same sheet?
Yes. Upload Person A, crop and set quantity, click “Add to Sheet & Add New Person”, then upload Person B and repeat. Each person stays independently re-editable — click any person card to reload them into the editor.
What file formats are supported for download?
PNG (lossless, recommended for printing) and JPG. Both are generated at 300 DPI. Use PNG for the sharpest print and JPG if you need a smaller file for online forms.
Will the printed sheet match the preview?
Exactly. The preview is rendered with the same engine as download and print, at the same margins, spacing, borders, and layout. The print path hides all UI and uses @page sized to your sheet (4×6 or A4).
